Why we cut the words on your website
By Max & Daniel · Updated 23 September 2026
If you sent us three paragraphs about your business and we turned it into three lines, it's not because we didn't read it. On a website, fewer words usually get read more.
Nobody reads walls of text
Most visitors are on their phone, often in a hurry. A big block of text looks like hard work, so they skip it, including the important bits hidden inside it.
Write about them, not you
"We've been established since 2005 and pride ourselves on quality" is about you. "We turn up on time, clean up after ourselves and give you a fixed price" is about the customer. We rewrite your copy so it answers what the customer cares about.
Plain words win
We write like you'd talk to a customer on site, not like a corporate brochure. "Hot water fixed today" beats "comprehensive hot water solutions" every time.
Where the detail goes
Detail still has a place. It just goes lower down the page or on its own page (like a service page), for the people who want it. Google also likes those detailed service pages, so nothing gets wasted.
