Why are all those suburbs listed on my website?

You might see a list of suburbs on your site, like "Servicing Manly, Dee Why, Brookvale and the Northern Beaches". It can look a bit odd, but it's doing two important jobs.
Job 1: Customers know you'll come to them
The first thing a customer wants to know is whether you work in their area. Seeing their own suburb on your site answers that instantly and makes you feel local, even if you're based a few suburbs away.
Job 2: Google knows where to show you
People search things like "plumber Mona Vale" or "electrician near me". Google needs to understand where you work before it can show you for those searches. Mentioning the suburbs you service, naturally and in the right places, is one of the ways it figures that out.
Why we don't list every suburb in Sydney
Stuffing hundreds of suburb names onto a page looks spammy to customers and to Google. We list the areas you genuinely service, and for your most important areas we may write a dedicated page.
Keep it matching everywhere
Your service areas on your website should match your Google Business Profile. When everything lines up, Google trusts it more.
